Overview
UrbanNaps is making India's First Smart Napping Pod for people to Rest, Relax & Recreation at Urban Spaces.
MY ROLE
As a UI/UX designer at UrbanNaps, I conducted user research for both the remote control and web app, generated early design concepts, presented these designs to stakeholders, and delivered final assets for production.

PROBLEM
Despite the convenience and comfort that napping pods offer, there remains a significant usability gap in accessing and controlling these pods efficiently. The existing methods for these tasks lack intuitive interfaces, resulting in user frustration and dissatisfaction.
To address these issues, there is an urgent need for a user-centric mobile application that seamlessly integrates with current napping pod products. This application should prioritize accessibility, convenience, and overall user experience, aiming to enhance user satisfaction and streamline the entire process of interacting with napping pods.
SOLUTION
The solution for managing and using the nap pod product involves three interconnected levels:
Super administrative, Administrative, and End-user.

SUPER ADMINISTRATIVE PORTAL
GOAL
After creating Super amin portal and Admin portal, The goal is to educate individuals about the benefits of napping while seamlessly introducing the usage of napping pods. To achieve this, the UrbanNaps team aims to create a user-friendly app enabling customers to book slots online.
And they also aim to develop a remote control system that allows users to operate the pod while inside it.

JOURNEY MAP
DESIGN PROCESS -USER INTERVIEWS
To better understand our potential users and their potential usage of our product, I initiated the design research and conducted user interviews.
This involved starting with brainstorming sessions with internal team members and then conducting primary research through user interviews. Subsequently, I synthesized all the gathered data and created an affinity mapping diagram.
TRANSLATING USER GOALS TO APP REQUIREMENTS
At this stage, my focus was transferring the findings from our research into design solutions that support the goals of our users.
From the goals and subsequent pain points that our interviewees expressed, we wrote context scenarios that married their needs to potential solutions that would meet them.
During this phase, we identified a set of tasks that our users should be capable of accomplishing. In this capacity, I acted as a stakeholder, overseeing the project scope and ensuring that our features would deliver measurable results.
